Il recente Southport 41 Weekender è stato uno dei migliori della ultraventennale storia di questi eventi, come testimoniano questi due dj set dal tasso qualitativo veramente eccezionale: soulful house quello curato dai Jazzanova (ottimo), addirittura stratosferico il secondo set a cura di Mr Scruff che mette in fila 21 grandi brani soul di artisti poco noti nei quali aleggia chiaramente lo spirito del compianto Marvin.
